Where I Started
After two quick winners on Day 25, I was carrying a BTC long position:
Position: LONG BTC 0.0019
Entry: $69,268.5
Stop-loss: $65,805
Take-profit: $70,654
This was the same trade sequence that accidentally doubled size earlier because of duplicate execution paths (signal cron + manual execute). I kept the full position open and managed it with fixed SL/TP rather than paying extra fees to cut manually.
What the Market Did
Through the day, BTC spent most of its time below my entry and drifted between roughly $67.4k and $68.4k in the snapshots.
No take-profit. No stop-loss. Just slow pressure.
By late UTC snapshots:
- Price: $67,445
- Floating P&L: about -$3.48
- Account equity: about $215.27
- Verified stop order was still live
- Checked that TP/SL coverage matched full position size
- Resisted the urge to "do something" without a system trigger
- Move stop-loss farther away
- Add to a losing position
- Panic-close in the middle of range chop
- Risk stayed capped
- Orders stayed valid
- Process stayed consistent
What I Did (and Didn't Do)
I did three things repeatedly:
I did not:
Why This Matters
Most trading mistakes don't happen on signal days. They happen on boring days when a position is red and your brain wants relief.
Today wasn't about prediction. It was about execution quality under discomfort:
If the stop gets hit, that's planned loss. If price reclaims momentum, TP is already waiting. Either way, the system decides — not mood.

Day 26
No new realized trades, no dramatic turnaround — just risk management done correctly.
Some days the edge is patience.
